Current families who complete the 2025-26 Enrollment Agreement and pay the required deposit ($1,800) during the Priority Re-Enrollment Period (Feb. 1 – 14) will enjoy a $300 discount on tuition.
Families with more than one student at St. Stephen’s enjoy a $700 discount for each additional student. For example, enroll a second child and receive a discount in the total amount of $700; enroll a third child and receive a discount in the total amount of $1,400.
Please note that the enrollment process must be completed and the non-refundable deposit ($1,800) must be received in order to secure your child’s seat. For new students, St. Stephen’s follows the HAIS Common Reply Date. The deposit is non-refundable, but applied to tuition for the academic year specified in the Enrollment Agreement.
In use at over 1,200 leading independent schools and colleges, the Tuition Refund Plan refunds a portion of the net annual tuition when the student is withdrawn or dismissed for covered reasons. All families electing to pay tuition in installments are required to purchase the Tuition Refund Plan at the rate of 1.6% of outstanding tuition and fees for the 2025-26 academic year, as reduced by the enrollment deposit, discounts, tuition remission, financial aid, and other reductions. At St. Stephen’s, we seek to be accessible for as many families as possible who value our learning opportunities for their children. We understand that affording a highly impactful learning experience often requires sacrifice. Financial Aid is the tool we use to make our community accessible. Financial Aid is budgeted annually and approved by the Finance Committee of the Board.
There are more applications for assistance than funds available; therefore, we use the following practices to distribute aid responsibly:
